— About —

Soraïa Scicchitano is a French-American born dancer and actress, based in New York City. With an American mother of Italian origins and an Egyptian dad, she grew up in a multicultural environment. Multiculturism is the core of her essence, how she looks at things in life. She believes it is a gift.

She started acting at the age of 8 at the community theater of her home town. Accepted in the Young Adult Company of the theater troupe La Charbonnerie, in her early teens, she performed and competed professionally in many classical plays up to her young adulthood.

As if growing up between France and Egypt was not enough, she finally booked that one way flight to NYC and left with one suitcase. Best decision ever, as she has since had the chance to work on CBS, Netflix, Amazon Prime, numerous prints and commercials. And, she recently did her first movie theater debuts, worldwide, in Cabrini.

In addition to her acting career, she interned with the renowned dance company Accrorap (directed by Kader Attou), Lia Rodrigues Companhia de Danças, and is a Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance graduate.
